Join us for our summer series of Second Thursday Birding Hikes! We take a break from our monthly chapter meetings during June, July, and August to just enjoy some birding together.
This month’s hike will be at Hickory Creek Preserve – La Porte Rd Access in Mokena. We will walk 2-3 miles on paved paths and some dirt nature trails. We expect to see prairie/grassland species, woodland songbirds, woodpeckers, flycatchers, and possibly owls! Meet in the first parking lot at 10537 W La Porte Rd, Mokena, IL 60448
