POP-UP Field Trip to Montrose Point Bird Sanctuary in Chicago. We will meet at the entrance to the beach here (41.9635090, -87.6360978) off of W Montrose Harbor Drive at 8am. This will be a photography-forward trip, but anyone is welcome! We will be focusing on newly-arriving Snow Buntings on Montrose Beach plus other late migrants like Orange-crowned Warblers, various sparrows, early waterfowl and anything else sticking around. Again, weather can be unpredictable along the lake at this time of year so please dress appropriately.
