WCAS will be participating in the annual Christmas Bird Count sponsored by the National Audubon Society in December. Bob will be compiling the results. We count within the Joliet Count Circle, a radius of 7.5 miles centered on the intersection of Larkin Avenue and I-80 in Joliet.
Traditionally, the Christmas Bird Count (CBC) in 2025 will takes place between December 14, 2025, to January 5, 2026, according to the National Audubon Society. This is a fixed period for the count each year.
