Our first ever Birds and Brews! Join us to kick off fall migration at Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie – Iron Bridge Trailhead (IL-53, Elwood, IL 60421) for a guided birding hike from 9-11am. Trails are limestone and natural pathways. Bison may be viewable from this location as well. We will hike and bird for roughly 2 hours and then head over to Rt. 66 Old School Brewing (110 Bridge St, Wilmington, IL 60481) for some good local beer and/or mead from Unpossible Mead out of Dwight. Nelly’s restaurant will also be open for lunch if you would prefer to grab a bite to eat.
