In this presentation you will be introduced to the two crane species that can be found in Illinois: the Sandhill Crane and the endangered Whooping Crane. We will discuss how to identify the two species, when they can be found in Illinois, their life history, current and historic threats they face, and how you can help protect these beloved birds.
