Join us for our April field trip to O’Hara Woods in Romeoville (Beverly J Griffin Dr, Romeoville, IL 60446). We will meet at 9am just off the parking lot overlooking Lake Strini and Conservation Park. This will be about a 2 mile walk on dirt paths through the woods, so please dress appropriately as trails may be muddy. We will be looking for early song bird and sparrow migrants, woodpeckers, waterfowl, shorebirds, possibly owls, and other wildlife. And don’t forget that April at O’hara means some of the most impressive Bluebell blooms in Will County!
